ParticipantAfter I wrote my first comment I read the whole press announcement. She’s bright and courageous. She refused to terminate her pregnancy after she learned her child would have Down symdrome. In Alaska, she run against her own party’s corrupt machinery and won. She voted down pork barrel spending in her own state. I don’t agree with her politics, but I have great respect for her.

ParticipantIf your maturity level is that of a immature teenager I suppose this post and comments so far could be witty.
I dislike using cultural nomenclature, occasionally it is apt particularly to the political leanings of the recent posters.
Bigotry in any form is at best, tiresome. The political bigotry of the “left” or “liberal” oriented that is so often espoused here is particularly vacuous and unnecessarily nasty.
“It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and remove all doubt.”
