svelteParticipantYes, and that was the reason many Republicans gave for disliking him. What will those same folks say now??
[quote=Ex-SD]The Dem’s should feel very comfortable with her since she’s under investigation. Wasn’t that one of the highlights of the entire Clinton reign?

ParticipantNext thing we know, McCain suffers an untimely demise (maybe a stroke, or the return of skin cancer), and Obama goes head to head with her in Nov.

ParticipantInteresting choice, but smells a bit gimicky to me. It seems that the hardline right is having a significant influence on McCain’s campaign – not much of the maverick seems to be left. Yes, she’s a woman, but she’s anti-abortion, anti-science (pro-creationism), card-carrying NRA member, connections to big oil – she really tows the line of the traditional conservative ideology. If he was a true maverick he would have challenged the hardliners and chosen Ridge or Lieberman. Ridge would have been a strong pick, it’s just too bad he didn’t pass the abortion litmus test.
I also think the PUMAs are largely a media creation, and Palin won’t have much of an effect on woman voters.
Word is that she’s a “hockey mom” – so I gotta give her some props there. I love me some hockey!
