As much as I punish you with my lib beliefs- I don’t hate you- though I understand if the feeling isn’t mutual.
I thought about you today actually-that we could have met many times in public without knowing it and got along fine- only divided by ideological differences online.
With the pic posted- I appreciate you even more.
Sincerely,
shannon
Gave me a nice laugh- much appreciated.

September 17, 2009 at 3:15 PM #458098briansd1GuestAllan, I actually find your view fairly balanced, especially in comparison to the wingnut social conservatives out there.
Sounds to me like you’re a national security hawk rather than one of those Evangelical Christians who have taken over the Republican party.
sdgrrl, I’m with you and I’m happy that America is the melting pot that it is.
Right now is the best time to be an American. The food is great, the fashion is cool, the people are interesting. There opportunities for those who seek it. The economy is going downhill but we are still the largest most prosperous market with plenty of choices.
When I’m in NYC and ride the subway, I always think that America is great because we welcome so many peoples and cultures from around the world.
I only wish that Americans were better received around the world.
