ParticipantThe new Apple TV is buggy as hell. No doubt there will be improvements in subsequent software updates, but it’s clear they rushed it out to get a jump on Google TV.

I was going to try out the Boxee.
But the Apple TV’s price point made the decision easy for me.
I wish they would make it easy to record (like a VCR) TV shows off of cable/broadcast. But that’s not the business model.
Edit: BTW, if you have a computer already connected to your TV, you can download Boxee for free. Good product.

ParticipantYes, there are quite a lot of solutions/options available for “internet TV”, to get the contents such as streaming videos or movies from internet.
Remember the old days without iphone, there were quite a lot of “smart” phones that could do web browsing, instant messaging, email and online games etc. Basically the applications make the iphone outstanding. Android has been following the path and doing quite well.
Now it’s time for TV, providing SDK and APIs for TV seems opening a huge window….soon we might have a piggington channel with multi-media contents:)
