(costco gas is mostly slightly cheaper than even arcos, but arcos makes you use cash/atm card with the 45 cent fee).
ARCO has a debit card where you don’t have to pay a 45 cent fee. Also, there’s no yearly membership fee at ARCO so you have to spend $1667 in gas at Costco before you earn the membership fee back. Yeah, yeah, I know, you earn that membership fee back on the first shopping trip though, right? Every Costco member says that!
do you get ?% cash back?

March 25, 2011 at 10:26 AM #680791jstoeszParticipantI heard a smog inspector interviewed on the radio about some easy tricks to passing smog. One of the aspects I found interesting was his thoughts on gasoline brands. It was his belief that shell and chevron gas was the best, and gave cars significantly better gas mileage. So even if it cost 10% more, he thought you may get up to 20% better mileage. I too have noticed a difference in mileage between arco and the rest. He also said, he has failed cars with arco, who have come back with shell and passed. So, take that anecdote for what it is worth.
