How about shuffleboard. Doesn’t require as much play area as billiards or table tennis. All ages and skill level can play side by side. You can always cover and use as a buffet table for those large Piggington dinners parties or wedding receptions. Add one or two electric safety dartboards and a fully stocked bar. And, of course, a few big screen tv’s.

A foosball table is ackward to put aside or reuse for other purpose. Might be able to cover for a large poker table.

i spent a lot of time drinking and playing darts in the 1980s. had a nice set of darts I carried around.

I liked to play ping-pong, badminton and croquet in the olden days.

I never tried foosball but the tables look interesting to me. Your kids would probably really like one of those . . . as well as scaredy (the big kid) :=)
