I heard about that. Not sure what the point is as they’ve already run the pipes to that general area. Seems more costly to add the fake tips.
Perhaps to keep the soot off the rear fascia?
Every so often, Volkswagen Audi Group designs an otherwise decent car that is very advance. But then rather than dot their i’s and cross their t’s, at the last 1% of the car, they decide to save a few dollars and do something totally cheap-ass that makes anyone scratch their head.
I can more readily understand if they did this on a Volkswagen Jetta. But an Audi S6? I mean, I dont know, If I was going sell a $80k car, I wouldn’t try to save a few pennies and put in a fake exhaust tip rather than have a real exhaust that exits the back. Or better yet, just don’t design a bumper with an exhaust opening in the back.
Typical VAG. That’s why friends don’t let friends buy a Volkswagen product.
do you want a real conspiracy? How about they shut down all the Donovans before I could collect on all my winning bets
