ParticipantWe went to La Jolla Coves back in 2003. Finding parking was hard and the crowd was thick as far as Seal Beach.
Area around Lucido Park in Rancho Bernardo is good vantage point for RB fireworks. We’ll be at Heritage Park in 4S this year.

ParticipantWe went to to the fishing boat docks near the midway. We just parked right on the dock, and had a fantastic view of two of the barges that were shooting off fireworks in the bay. We were close enough to feel the concussion from the mortars going off in front and behind us. It was a total last minute idea, and it worked out well.

ParticipantThanks folks for the suggestions. I’ll try them next year….I ended up biting the bullet and just went to LJ Cove..Wasn’t too bad once I paid $10 for parking ๐
It wasn’t as crowded as I thought it would be.Also got to sit next to some cool old dude that runs a transmission shop in Murrieta and listening about his 1930 classic he’s almost finished restoring and considering to put on the Barrett auctions.
