Glad that I did not upgrade my iPhone today. I will wait a while until they fix the issues with it. I bought mine six months after they first came out in December when they dropped the price on the 8GB model. Fine so far but will wait on the new software upgrades.

ParticipantThe iPhone is a great product IMHO. I can check traffic in the morning, surf the web at fast speeds via WiFi, my kids can use it to watch YouTube on the road, and the mapping function is great, no need for a GPS in the car. I’ve been more than pleased with my iPhone so far. It’s a mini-computer that I use as a phone as well.

FLU, some questions for you:
a) Did you find a way to unlock and jailbreak the new iPhone? I know the old ones can be unlocked because I have one.
b) What will you do with the two year contract that you have to sign in order to buy the iPhone and activate it in the store? From what I understand, they won’t let you walk out the store without your having signed the contract.
