Not excusing it FLU, just pointing out that once someone starts breaking the law and getting away with it then all hell breaks loose. The “civilized” countries like those in the EU frequently break the law first and then complain when everyone else starts doing it too. As for those pirates, yes they are goons but keep in mind that probably very few of them can even read and write much less tell a humanitarian supply ship from a nuclear waste dumping boat. Again, there is no excuse for breaking the law but that applies to “civilized” countries too.
I hate this simplistic Rush Limbaugh thinking that whenever you try to look into the background of any situation you are “excusing” criminal behavior. No I’m not, I’m just trying to figure out why pirates have appeared there all of a sudden. Now we know, it turns out they’re not the first to start breaking laws and killing people. Big surprise…
