So I have decided to take the plunge and possibly look into getting a dog. I HAVE to have a dog that does not shed! I have looked at the poodle mixes and like that they don’t shed. Does anyone have one or know of anyone who has a cockapoo (cockerspaniel and poodle) or cavapoo(cavalier spaniel and poodle)? Or does anyone know of any other dogs that don’t shed?
We plan to look into labradoodles/goldendoodles. The ones that are more poodle don’t shed, are great around families and kids etc due to the golden/lab retriever mix. They are kind of designer dogs, but in an area like San Diego you will fit right in!

My dog sheds but I bathe her once a week and use a special brush called the “fur-minator” which works really well. Poodles are great. It’s great that you’re going for a mixed breed instead of pure breed (a.k.a. inbreed).
FYI May 3rd there’s a race for the “fastest Chihuahua in America” at the sports arena. It looks like a fun family outing.
