I just had to set up a PayPal account as the online site didn’t take credit cards directly. Now that I have the choice of PayPal or using my credit cards directly for most sites, which should I use? What’s safer or better? What payment method do Piggies endorse?

Yep – use a rewards or ff points credit card if that option is open.
Some places only take paypal – so I use my PP when that’s the case.
If I’m making a foreign transaction (purchase or rental deposit in a foreign currency) then I use my Cap One credit card to get the better exchange rate.
It’s all about reducing transaction costs, increasing rewards. Whatever costs me the least.
