OT: cocktails …

For the last 30 years or so, I’ve basically been a wino, with ice and a lot of soda water thrown in.

In my younger “restaurant-worker” days, I used to like Cutty and water, with a twist. I too liked the “smooth-tasting bitter highball” then but no longer indulge in it.

I’ve been on a ginger beer cocktail kick recently. Dark & Stormy, Kentucky Colonel, Mules, etc. The Starlite Lounge across the 5 from the airport has some great cocktails along those lines.

Tiki drinks have become fun again. And I don’t mean the fruit juice sugar overload kind.. I mean the hardcore 100% liquor no-juice kind that kick your ass reeeeaalll good.
