OT: Celtics vs. Lakers

I want the Celtics to win but I’m a realist and playing against the Lakers in LA in a Game 7… well, that’s a tough mountain to climb.

I really don’t care much about basketball, but as a Fan of the Underdog (admittedly relative in this case), I can’t stomach Kobe getting his fifth ring while Garnett, Allen and Pierce only have one apiece after long productive careers toiling away with poor teams (until united with the Celtics in ’08). And Phil “Zen Master” Jackson… please. I would so love to see him lose a second final to Doc Rivers.

Anyhow, I’m prepared for disappointment.

Grew up in Orange County and was a lakers fan through the good years – Magic, Rambis, Kareem, Worthy etc.

I hate the NBA now, its a bunch of hacks doing just that… Seeing how many time they can get fouled and get to the line. Dont get me wrong, Kobe and others have talent but I think the NBA is a theatrical joke.

Dont really care who wins.. want the lakers to win because of the past and because they are socal, want the east coast to win bc im not a big fan of kobe.
