Are tomato plants dieing now in this cold?
I’ve seen tomato plants persist into the next year but good fruit production wasn’t there after the summer passed. Most people are done or soon to be done with them by now. I did see a tomato plant at the nursery recently that had claims to be some kind of a cold season producer.October 21, 2010 at 9:11 PM #621562NotCrankyParticipant
Are tomato plants dieing now in this cold?
However, my Himrod grape did not produce this summer. I had 5 bunches forming and it looked promising. But this summer was the worst summer ever along the coast and overcast just about every day. It was very disappointing and frustrating. So it started going dormant. The grapples shriveled up. Then as soon as we had some warm weather, it started coming back again. No fruits.
My blueberries are still producing.
