Exactly what “sense” are you going to talk into the “tin-foil-hat crowd”? What explanation do you have for the massively increased surveillance of innocent civilian targets?

do police use same technology to find criminals from helicopters? could be useful for fleeing felons…

I figured this would happen: NDAA 2012 included a signing statement which basically said the administration would not enforce the indefinite detention provisions.
NDAA 2013 was essentially identical to NDAA 2012, except….no signing statement objecting to indefinite detention.
At least that’s my understanding.
