old antenna removal

Hello faithful piggs….. i am faithful myself since the beginning but rarely can add much value so i keep quiet but absorb wisdom most of the time! on that note, i am in escrow after much patience but need input as to (1) recommendations for companies that would remove an old roof antenna; and, (2) what is a reasonable range of costs. The antenna is approx 20+ feet high and is just plain ugly and serves no purpose….. Any wisdom out there? Thanks for everyone’s time!

sdrealtor is right. Just hack it off. Add a little silicon caulking if you want to weatherproof the cut. Ladders are inexpensive to rent if you need one.

I don’t think I can improve on this advice.

Well. Maybe have a guy with a rope pulling on it so it falls the way you want it to fall.

And, well, maybe a power tool of some sort – like a Sawzall – would be better.

Oh. And, don’t fall off the roof.

Maybe video tape it just in case something bad happens you can make $10,000 from AFV.
