FLU, I think the word you’re looking for here is “chintzy” which is actually has Hindi/Urdu roots and means “gaudily or cheaply decorated”. I am a bit of a racial/ethnic slur aficionado and I have never heard anyone say “chinky”.

BTW, if you enjoy a good uncomfortable ethnic slur as much as I do, make sure to see “Gran Torino”. My only regret is that I didn’t get see it in a left-wing politically correct enclave like San Francisco. I can only imagine the audible gasps at some of the dialogue. By that standard, isn’t calling obama “dumb” racist by that standard? Afterall, in the past white people thought black people were inferior.

Does this mean, any sort of attack on Obama on his intelligence is racist too?
