I was listening Dennis Prager interview a doctor. To shorten what the doc said; You are more likely to lose your savings here in the USA and more likely to die from a major illness in the more socialized systems.
I asked a nurse practitioner if she agreed with that assessment and she said yes.
Any docs here in the house? Do you agree or disagree?
You can’t get questions like this from the mainstream media it seems. Just like during the height of the gun debate no one ever asked cops on the street what would be the results of banning all guns.

There are two very important parts of the house-passed health care bill that you need to know about. The first is a rule that states, if you do not have some kind of health insurance you will be fined. So if you don’t think you need health insurance or you are rich enough to pay for it out of pocket, you will be fined until you get government health care. How will this bring down costs, when you make people who don’t want or need health insurance sign up for government health insurance. The second thing that you need to understand is that the bill says that once the legislation has been passed, private health care can never sign anyone else up for insurance. This means if you have your own health insurance through your job and you change jobs you must sign up for government heath insurance. If you are self employed and have you own insurance you can’t change companies unless you change it to the government plan. This isn’t about cost savings but control. What else do you call it when no one can opt out, except for congress?July 20, 2009 at 10:21 AM #434348ZeitgeistParticipantObama care will hurt the elderly:

Published: July 20, 2009“Finally, there is health care. Every cliché Ann Coulter throws at the Democrats is gloriously fulfilled by the Democratic health care bills. The bills do almost nothing to control health care inflation. They are modeled on the Massachusetts health reform law that is currently coming apart at the seams precisely because it doesn’t control costs. They do little to reward efficient providers and reform inefficient ones.”
“The House bill adds $239 billion to the federal deficit during the first 10 years, according to the Congressional Budget Office. It would pummel small businesses with an 8 percent payroll penalty. It would jack America’s top tax rate above those in Italy and France. Top earners in New York and California would be giving more than 55 percent of earnings to one government entity or another.”
“Nancy Pelosi has lower approval ratings than Dick Cheney and far lower approval ratings than Sarah Palin. And yet Democrats have allowed her policy values to carry the day — this in an era in which independents dominate the electoral landscape.”
