me thinks people are just tired of talk about we’ll survive, we’re strong with very little game plan. Funny obama should talk about responsibility. Still trying to figure out the 1 billion spent on the census.
Folks have posted this before. This is looking a lot like a Carter administration (reading about Carter).

February 25, 2009 at 7:44 AM #354465Allan from FallbrookParticipantFlu: Strong parallels to Carter. Carter was dealing with the malaise of Vietnam (which fell to the communists in 1975), Watergate, a recessionary economy, the OPEC oil shocks, and inflation.
I don’t doubt that Carter was as well meaning as Obama, and no dumb bunny, either (he was a Naval Academy graduate), but circumstances were clearly beyond his control.
A lot of us who pointed out Obama’s weaknesses in terms of experience were attacked for doing so, but I think we’re seeing that it is truly a problem. He was also built up as the Messiah and, once this is exposed as a fraud, the fall will be fast and fatal.

Total BS. You didn’t have to build him up as anything other than, “he’s not John McCain.”
Normally I agree with pretty much everything Genesis says, but not this time. I voted for Obama, and yes I’m terribly disappointed, but my expectations were for the truth. We keep going round and round about this, but neither party, its leadership, or rank and file Senate/House members are telling the truth. If we create a political system where the truth and risk taking aren’t rewarded, how would we ever elect people who do/are?
Obama has set his course, with respect to the banking crisis. I think its terribly the wrong course. He came out and said what it was he was aiming for, before he took office. I didn’t watch the SOTU, because I knew there was no real value in it. However, I’m not nearly as disappointed as many. I didn’t really expect Obama to change course or lay out his plans. He doesn’t really have any. Just like Shrub and Skeletor, Turbo fail Timmy and BO are making it up as they go.
