We wouldn’t have had all the boat people hit our shores. Mira Mesa real estate and Little Saigon real estate in Orange County would be much lower.
There would be no Pho King on El Cajon Blvd.
Gap and Walmart would be more profitable thanks to the cheap labor that would have been available earlier.
We would already have computers made in Vietnam.
Most important of all, our soldiers in Iraq and AFPAK would all be clamoring to go to Vietnam for R&R. They could sit on China Beach smoking weed and cavorting with the hookers.
Cam Ranh Bay would be the paradise base for American sailors.

All I gota say is, that’s how BAD Bush Jr. was. He was so BAD that he was the biggest reason Obama was elected POTUS. Othewise US wouldn’t have elected a half-Black man as POTUS for another 20-50 years imho.

I completely agree. That’s why I’m glad to have had Dubya when we had him.
