TheBreeze is at least in good company
“A noble spirit embiggens the smallest man.”
What a bunch of fucking retards – is it that you can’t spell or can’t type?
I’ve never been “embiggened” before – is that a good thing or a bad thing?
4plex, dude you need to watch more Simpsons.
What I love so much about Obama so far is that now; maintenance of the status quo has a black face. Blame me I voted for him, even though he voted for the TARP. He’ll also approve the next TARP. Will it be TARP 2.0, or Son of TARP?

January 25, 2009 at 12:04 AM #335270socratttParticipantBreeze you should frame your posts on your ceiling above your bed at home. When sales are down you can just look up at these many printouts next to your Obama signed photo, which is next to your Jimmy Carter signed photo and you will feel so much better!
A quick look back this week would have many people questioning if Obama really has any sense of leadership. We have already touched on the subject of Timothy Geithner, which I think we already all agree was a bad decision. How about that decision to reverse the ban on international funds to support abortion outside the US? Aren’t we in a recession, possible depression and our Presidents thinks it’s necessary to fund abortions outside the US. Let’s keep the spending up, what a brilliant idea. These bailout plans look great to all the irresponsible people that our Democratic government pushed with their affordable housing plans.
Obama wasn’t done yet. He really wanted to make sure that lobbyists weren’t able to involve themselves in politics anymore, so he signed the executive order only to later waive that order to allow former Raytheon lobbyist William Lynn to serve as his Deputy Secretary of Defense. Obama really is clueless and his inexperience is shining brightly.
We also have the great closing of GITMO. It will be really nice to have some of the worlds most successful terrorists here in Southern California. Maybe Obama will approve an autograph signing so that Breeze can put them on his ceiling as well. If you ever wanted to know how screwed up our system really is check this article out on a man that should have been publicly assassinated.

January 25, 2009 at 8:28 AM #335363felixParticipantAs I aid prior to the election, too many folks have bought into BO as savior. I don’t know if it’s was wilfull ignorance on their part of BO’s past or because of their blind hate of W but this election was like watching a B-horror movie where the actors (voters) do the least rational things.
Unfortunately, we may now have elected the least vetted and least experienced man ever to sit in the oval office.
These voters ignored BO’s lack of judgment and ability to assess character prior to the election. We have a guy with close ties to; Rezko, Ayers, Rev. Wright and Blago.
That should have been enough to make everybody very wary of his judgment but unfortunately his judgment just continues to be questionable with the nominations of: Hillary (Sec of State), Geitner(Treasury), Duncan (Education), and the appointment of Emmanuel to head his staff.
Rezko, the convicted felon, was not just a BO acquaintance but a political mentor, business partner and lets not forget, next door neighbor. And the details of BO’s Rezko facilitated home purchase stink, particularly, when you include that none other than our illustrious Governor’s wife’s firm handled the real estate purchase.
Of course that is no surprise because Blago and BO are joined at the hip, courtesy of Rezko, who started both in politics. After Blago’s arrest BO talked about two types of politicians, the good (him) and the bad (Blago) but if Blago was so different and so reprehensible to BO, why was BO the first Illinois pol to endorse Blago, not once, but twice!
Is was common knowledge among Illinois pols what type of guy Blago was even before his first election as Governor. So why would BO endorse him not once, but twice?
As far as openness, the WH press corp has already complained about a lack of openness and responsiveness to questions, not only from WH staff but from BO himself who has taken to lecturing media types, many of whom are so in love with BO they won’t do their jobs. Apparently BO thinks he, not the media, should control from whom, when and what is asked about his administration.
That shouldn’t be a surprise since BO booted folks from his campaign plane if he didn’t like what they wrote. Also we got a good taste of how open he would be when this Blago stuff I warned folks here about blew up. BO and Emmanuel have declined to discuss anything about it. Like when Rev. Wright came to pass BO prefers to lecture on a subject,(in Wright’s case it was racism, in Blago’s case it was corrupt pols), instead of answering mediaquestions.
As for even even closer BO/Blago ties, who was hand picked by Blago to fill his congressional seat after his election as Illinois Governor?
Rahm Emmanuel.
