Again, I ask: What IS the plan? You still haven’t answered.[/quote]Allan, the plan is to counter Republican obstruction while advancing a progressive economic and social agenda.

Brian: Let me see if I can help you out here. Obama wants to advance his own vote buying program (“advancing a progressive economic and social agenda”), while the Republicans wish to advance their own vote buying agenda (tax cuts for the wealthy and supporting Big Business, Big Oil and Big Money). Hence the gridlock in D.C. we’re presently experiencing.
The Dems don’t have a plan, but neither do the Repubs. I’ll be the first one to say that the GOP is out to lunch. I just want to hear you say the same of Obama and the Dems. C’mon, it’ll be like tearing off a Band-Aid. A little sting and then it’ll feel better.

June 18, 2011 at 1:01 AM #704483temeculaguyParticipantI can settle tnis argument right now.
Allan-he gave the green light to seal team 6, the job and the truth weren’t lost on him, we can all sleep well.
Brian-actually i don’t know what to say, because I can’t give you wisdom at your age, you gotta trust me, it’s not what it seems. When you break 40, you’ll understand the folly of youth.

TG: You’ll get no disagreement from me regarding Obama’s order to turn bin Laden’s head into an ashtray. Gutsy call and I give him all the credit he’s due on that one.
However, its his general ineptitude and helplessness on other fronts that I take issue with. He can’t legitimately blame Dubya any longer for the shit we’re in. He now owns this. And he does not have a credible plan for fixing it. If he did, you can bet your ass that Brian would be shouting it from the rooftops.
Thanks for reminding me about being over 40, too. On Father’s Day weekend, no less. You’re a prince, dude.
