New Temecula housing video in HD..

Yuck is this how homes are built out there? I thought one reason to move so far away was to extend your elbows and establish some space.

I also understand the hip urban idea of putting garages in the back but what’s the point with the homes so close. Might as well just go on and attach them and then you could fit one more per block.

Great video…only made it to 4 minutes as it’s unbelievable how many homes are on the market there. We were looking at buying about 1 1/2 years ago in the area…thank god we came to our senses, the prices just were unjustifiable then.

I believe one of the homes you show on there was part of the San Diego/Riverside foreclosure ‘Auction’ by these guys, http://www.ushomeauction.com/index.php. It’s a white capecod looking home a little over 3 minutes into the video.

If this is the case then the bank didn’t take there offer of just over 500K and decided to bet on trying to keep selling it themselves….doesn’t look like that’s going so well for them….

Just for the record, waiting hawk changed the music… and personally I don’t see why. The original songs used were “don’t worry be happy” and “put a smile on your face” and it made you laugh as you listened to the words of the songs.

Nice Vid Matt, I had no idea Harveston was tanking so bad, I thought it would hold up better than French Valley or Murietta. For those of you unfamiliar with this enclave it is unique for Temecula and it is fairly new. The small lots and throwback rear garages or alley garages is not found in many places out here, this is one of the only ones I can think of up here. It does have a lake, lots of parks and walkways, it own school and an inordinate amount of common areas. They probably could have put the same amount of homes on standard or large lots if they eliminated all the common areas. It’s kind of a marketing experiment that I thought was kind of cool and six month ago there were few posters who were buying there because they dug the community. But alas, Shiff was right, it doesn’t matter who or where you are, it’s the financing house of cards that has been built and Harveston was primarily developed in the past five years making the lawns ripe for browning.

Despite the signs, have the prices moved down yet, I have never tracked that area with any regularity.

Prices are moving down slowly in Harveston.. just like everywhere else inventory is high, and most sellers remain stubbornly attached to stratospheric prices.

We often say stubbornly attached, but thats a misnomer. People owe more than they can get for the house, thats the source of the of the problem.
