. . . zin is a damn good grape (though I do not drink the pink shit). . .
HEY!!
I drink that “pink shit.” My favorite “cocktail” is 2 parts seltzer water to one part “pink shit” in a large wine goblet with ice cubes. Been drinking diluted “pink shit” all my life, mostly from a box.
Yeah, I’m open to trying other kinds, but I don’t care for dry wine. “Pink shit” (aka “white zinfandel”) with seltzer is good for my budget :=]
If you can get that stuff down, all the power to you. keep doing it. It’s much cheaper that way.

I actually mostly listen to hip hop these days and rarely listen to any of the older stuff any more. My musical tastes an experience are far beyond what you could imagine. As for Zin, good luck with that. Most of it is high alcohol crap. If Consilience is the best damn red you ever had, I feel sorry for you. Come up and look in wine locker for an education. It’s full of Bordeaux’s, Burgundy’s Brunello’s, Barolo’s, Cab’s, Pinot’s, Shiraz and a few 30 to 50 year old Port’s awaiting special birthday’s. You wont find a Zin in there for good reason. Someday you might learn why.
You F’ing wine snob!
When am I coming over for dinner?!? :p
Anyone one who know of the nebbiolo from the lovely hills of Piedmnot is ok in my book!
However there is a very nice Zin/Primotivo that I recommend highly from layer cake (2007) that is excellent at 13 dollars a bottle.
I think I am ordering a case of Pira 2006 Marcena Barolo soon too.
I didnt know you were into wines sdr. Good to know!
As for State Songs… The whole Uber Alles Jerry Brown thing is way to obivious!
How about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uWbXQQG9B6c
Since the whole world thinks “we gangsta” anyway…

April 21, 2011 at 1:17 PM #688228sdrealtorParticipantLOL, I do have a little wine problem. About 500 bottles or so. I’m actually working on putting together a little party with some wine friends at my house to do pizza’s (I have a grill that gets to about 600 degrees which works great with a pizza stone)and italian wines on a Sunday night. If your interested send me a PM and I’ll let you know when and if I pull it off.
If you want Italian wines, I have a couple great sources up in OC with some of the best prices in the country too.
