There once was a pigg, a real loser
Who was known as a bore and a boozer
He drunk posted about
A zombie with gout
Now everyone hits ‘Ignore User'
Ha! Well done…

I wouldn’t ignore somebody w/ a different opinion, just the same one over and over and over.
Exactly… that’s a very good way of describing it.
December 9, 2011 at 7:45 AM #734356Rich ToscanoKeymaster
In a few months it would be fun to see a Top 10 list of most ignored users.
There is no reporting of any kind on who is ignored… only an individual user knows who he/she is ignoring. Divining the Top 10 list will have to be left as an exercise for the reader.
December 9, 2011 at 8:57 AM #734360svelteParticipantI’m serious! I would not have posted it if I thought anyone thought I was talking about them specifically. My style is more direct – if I have an issue with someone, I will tell them directly, and I have on here.
On a related topic, I guess I am surprised how many people think the ‘ignore user’ feature is aimed at them. Insecurity? Guilty conscious? Other?
December 9, 2011 at 9:04 AM #734361JazzmanParticipantDon’t most just ignore those they want to anyway …or it is to remove the temptation? Ignoring is good mental discipline.
December 9, 2011 at 9:15 AM #734363sdrealtorParticipantI’ve been ignoring walter for years….lol…jk

I have yet to see anybody change their opionon on this board, let me know if I am wrong with a few charts.
December 9, 2011 at 9:27 AM #734366scaredyclassicParticipantI feel I’m a smarter housebuyer for reading this board. It may not have changed my opinion on the general scamminess of it all but it’s changed my opinion on certain courses of action.

I’ve changed my opinion on several folks over the years. There are posters I went toe to toe with years ago who I didnt agree with or respect much that I have grown to like and respect.
December 9, 2011 at 9:54 AM #734371scaredyclassicParticipantI’m pretty sure that this whole ignore user thing was directed at me.
December 9, 2011 at 10:28 AM #734374HobieParticipantIt would be helpful if the ignoree could see how many have added him to their personal list. Not necessary who, but a count. ie. may help them vote themselves off the island or change their tune…
December 9, 2011 at 10:38 AM #734375desmondParticipantSDR,
I am not talking about opinions on posters and I am sure dude wasn’t either. Is this board taking cues from the NBA?December 9, 2011 at 11:22 AM #734377sdrealtorParticipantI’d change my opinions but they are always right so why bother?
December 9, 2011 at 11:27 AM #734378scaredyclassicParticipantI was hoping to change opinions on grunting but it looks like everyones position is pretty hardened.
It’s hopeless.
