ParticipantSDR, when was the trustee sale?
will likely sell for $650k, a nice $170k profit for the flippers.

ParticipantYeah. I don’t know. I did some looking at us financial who was named the transferee at the ttee auction. They appear to be a group that (among other things) buys notes at a discount prior to foreclosure. I am not 100% about that but it appears that they were the foreclosing entity. If thats the case (and I am not certain that it is), then they did not pay a dime and just devalued the note at, or before, the time of the auction (probably for tax reasons).

ParticipantYep I learned more today. There were postponements from the original trustee sales and then cancellations. You could be correct on your assumption. Another guess I am making is this indeed was a possible portfolio purchase of some type lumped in with other properties.
Hard to say… Drove by the home today and checked it out. It is in a pretty decent part of Sabre Springs…
Of course it is only a few homes away from Westerfields old house.
OCR the recording for the trustee deed was 8/25 but the previous cancellations of the auction date was 8/6 and another one before that. I tend to think it never went to auction.
