Participant
Almost impossible to draw a comparison to anything in San Diego, but I suppose Scripps Ranch would be the closest.
If I got school ratings right, it’s closer to Vista than Scripps Ranch.
This would be Scripps Ranch:

Don’t get me wrong, great house … you can’t get 6000 sf on acreage for the money here.

ParticipantThe schools in Maryland are pretty good in my experience.
Gaithersburg: Well outside the beltway, and yet not a distant/outer suburb either.
Frederick would be akin to Temecula.

Participant
Side note: My mind starts spinning when I see a house that big and I think about furnishing and decorating it. Seriously, I think I’d have a nervous breakdown. And oh yeah, cleaning it, yikes.
It should be mandatory a house that big come w/a maid. lol

Funny. I looked at the stats and the first thing I thought of is my lord is that a lot of yardwork!!
Men and women think differently! Indeed, they do.
Congrats Navydoc. It’s the beautiful home you so richly deserve for all of your hard work.
