Well here’s another drunken rant …and the good thing about them is you are never ashamed of them until it’s too late. I’m a great fan of Bill Bryson and I found this quote by Joseph Priestley, which was aimed at the ineptitudes of the English language, but nevertheless is relevant to many matters “…it is better to wait the decisions of time, which are slow and sure, than to take those of the synods, which are often hasty and injudicious.” We can substitute synod with change mongers.
