Fair enough. Just back off on the simple syrup and/or bump up the vodka and/or change from grapefruit vodka to regular vodka as desired.
My wife tends to sweeter drinks, so I can get her drinking alot more by bumping up the simple syrup – which is important when you look like I do.
The thing is, fresh citrus loves vodka – almost as much as rum loves coke.
