That being said, I would probably either choose a large lot with the cheapest house in RSF (so I could build a huge garage for the purchase of more decadent cars)….
I’m certain that’s what my DH would want and he’d have a say about it. Heck, even in our search now, his dream home is a one bedroom, one bath, 5 car garage. ;)
Well your DH may be in luck. Craig Moya has been talking about building a subdivision of 15 normal sized homes with 5 car garages here in San Diego, just for car enthusiasts such as ourselves.
We lucked out and found a house with a four car garage which we’ve now filled up. π I guess it’s a good thing I don’t have a bigger garage, as I’ve proven I won’t stop until it’s full. We went to Leonesse Winery’s barrel room the other day, and I spent the entire time thinking about how many cars I could park in that building…

It was a 1BR/1BA house on a gated property of about 15,000 sq ft lot with pool/spa, outdoor kitchen and a 5 car garage. He remodelled the place to be the ultimate bachelor pad and it was stunning. It had a batting cage too.

I hope my DH has gone back to reading his motor blogs and doesn’t stumble upon this thread, LOL.July 26, 2011 at 8:42 AM #712987jpinpbParticipant
One of my friends had a wedding party at a friend of his’s home up in Santa Monica 3 weeks ago that I went to.
