The Dems know they are not for “Americans” and the Republicans know they are not for “Americans” so they publically swap hyperbole and share power/gross access to opportunity forever. The joke is on us folks and more so on the rest of the world,but we don’t really care because we are still making pretty good imperial money.As long as both parties promise us a pretty good standard of living we will vote for one and keep on idly bickering about the bullshit they feed us. As long as we persist in taking one side with them or the other we are all lame ducks as far as any higher “American” ideals go. I, for one, did not find this site by doing a search for Republican-Bullying-Religious-CountryClubMooching-Instigators. I could do without hearing his views on those topics.
However, I’ll never let those socially irresposible comments of his stand unchallenged, even if he is ‘just joking around’ having “fun throwing red meat before you ‘libs'”.

ParticipantJG is like the one guy on here who posts a positive spin when people make asinine assumptions that most christians are either leading the charge on scamming, or else that most christians are trusting and gullible. I can’t figure out which one it is just yet. However since LK and others jump into the fray every time one of these things comes up, I’d rate the signal to noise ratio as about 5-1 the anti-american pro-frenchy (insert cuba, venezuela or whatever other flavor of the week) vs. the patriotic murricans.
So anyway JG resorts to name-calling because he says “anti-american”, but christians being either gullible or scammers…. No name-calling there.

BUT the topic is relevant here because the core clients are using Christianity in their own defense.
Here’s a quote from their website:
“Coreclients Against Fraud are victims of an alleged Massive Real Estate/Mortgage/Currency Ponsi scheme spanning several states perpetrated by several people who claim to be ‘investment advisors’ and ‘real estate investors.’ They targeted active-duty/retired military, the church community, the retired and elderly, and the Filipino Community. They claimed that we would see financial independence in 3 years if we gave them control of our finances and trusted them (they claimed to be Christians).”In essence the core clients are saying that they trusted the scammers BECAUSE investors and scammers are Christians.
Rather than focusing on the scam itself, they use the fact that they are “active-duty/retired military, the church community, the retired and elderly, and the Filipino Community” to elicit sympathy.
It seems to me that the core client are admitting that they are “gullible” and that’s why they were easily duped because of religion. Would the core client have turned over their finances to the scammers if they were Muslim? I think not.
It’s not us, the libs, who are playing the religion card.
