    When I think Gaslamp, I think night clubs…so I got excited when I read the “Gaslamp North” headline in the paper this week. North county really, really needs a few good night clubs…believe me, we’ve looked!

    But then I got to thinking about San Marcos’ track record with night clubs. They tend to run them out of town, witness what is currently going on with Jumping Turtle.

    The only one left in town is Acapulco, but maybe if I close my eyes and wish real hard I can convince myself that the powers that be will allow a few in Gaslamp North too…sigh
