Walmart sales have increased, leading to another DJIA rally to a record high. That must mean we’ve hit bottom and can only go up from here. π
What people don’t realize is that more people shopping at walmart means they can no longer afford the finer things!

Walmart cost cutting was the only bright spot and the market rallys on news of “reduced payroll expense”. Bubble does not capture it

October 11, 2007 at 10:44 AM #88068bsrsharmaParticipantSpeaking of Walmart, I visited one last weekend and it was so crowded I had to rub shoulders with many shoppers. {Before anyone criticizes me for patronizing Walmart – I have to rely on Walmart for a couple of essentials e.g. Our cat’s preferred litter and my pre-electric shave lotion}

I just had an epiphany: Wal-Mart can be just the company to help this country out of the mess we are in.
If they would just loan that little whistling yellow smiley faced guy to the N.A.R., we might begin to see prices rolling back in earnest…;)
