I wonder why these pre-fab homes are so expensive. I thought the whole point of pre-fab is because it’s more cost effective.

LABhaus is going to start offering their modern prefab/modular line in California this spring. Take a look at the ecoVilla model. It’s pricing around $399k for the East Coast, with a very high finish package.
