    I don’t know the details. Since cash seems to be what’s swaying short sales, she gave it a try and it worked. I would think there are others doing the very same thing.

    JP, can you explain why all-cash offers would be swaying short sales ?

    Well the lender of the listing agent knows there is a much better chance the deal will close as long as the cash amount is verified.

    There can be many problems with buyers that need financing (potential buyer may not ultimately get the loan, the home may not appraise for the sales price, if cabinets and appliances are missing can not get a loan, un-permitted additions can not get a loan) just to name a few.
