You mean people drive fast on this road or there is illegal racing going on here?
as we’ve seen a lot of houses that back up to Calle CristoDragRace.

The answer to your question is “yes”.

Do people still drag race on public street? I thought that died out along w/ the Fast and Furious. To the OP, I personally don’t think it’s worth $63k more, but it comes down to supply and demand. I bet the demand for the Raven Ridge house is much less, due to the small yard and it’s location. 1800 sq-ft single story have a pretty big footprint. Probably due to low demand, Emily was able to score the deal. The Trailbrush probably had higher demand, which is probably why it close for the price it did. When you’re bidding blind, it’s quite easy to over bid for 10-15k if you like the place.

March 16, 2011 at 9:34 AM #677497EmilyHicksParticipantThanks UCGal,
I slept in house for the first time last night and I barely notice the noise if I don’t pay attention. I guess I am more tolerant to noise than some. I have lived in a similar home with road noise in the past. Nevertheless, I will install double-pane windows and patio door for the back side of the house.
