Nearly two years ago the house next door closes escrow and new neighbors move in.
Two months after closing, “Donald” and “Melania” refinance the house for well above the purchase price and settle down for some sound, strategic investments. “Melania” makes a beeline to the beemer dealer for her new 750iL (trick wheels etc.) Not to be outdone, “Donald” trades in his trasher for a new blinged out H2 with the big chrome wheels, brush guards, etc.
After acquiring these essential items their purchases become questionable. The coup de grace comes when Donald (apparently feeling slighted after a string of purchases by Melania) acquires a new tricked out golf cart. Mind you there is not a golf course within 5 miles of our neighborhood. Perfect.. while Melaina is the house posing with her bling, Donald is in the driveway going around in circles with his golf cart.
The best part is their attitude. It actually is as if Donald and Melania had been plucked from the Mar-A-Lago Club and forced to live with peasants. On a good day they are dismissive and rude. Maybe they should have attitude, after all they flipped a house during the bull market thus landing them where they are today. I guess I should just face the facts that these people are seasoned real estate tycoons and will behave as such!
Well the last two months have been frantic as the Trumps have been feverishly working on the house in preparation for the big flip…err flop. The house is now on the market at a price that is in the stratosphere. The asking price directly correlates to the the amount necessary for them to get out without writing a check. Their brashiness is gone and now they just looked pissed. No doubt this story will have a fugly ending.
And in the end Bill Gross suggest that the American taxpayer should bail these folks out? WTF??
Nowadays, not a Range Rover or H2 passes me on the freeway without me thinking about where the money came from – and if I won’t soon be paying for that SOB’s bling with my tax dollars.
