Masters programs in real estate

Does anyone here have any experience with the MSRE program at USD? Other than USC, it appears that this program is the best real estate program in the region, and I am wondering whether anyone out there has gone through it or has experience working with the program?

I am looking for professional real estate program that will position me to network in the industry, develop a certain level of industry copentancy and possibly become a real estate entrepreneur someday.

first, learn to spell – asking for advice about developing competency in an industry might produce better results if you spelled ‘competency’ correctly, but I admit to being anal-retentive about such things

with that said, it seems you are talking about two different things: 1) how to become REIC-slime; and 2) how to become an RE entrepreneur

if you want to become REIC-slime you need to follow the traditional education path and obtain the certifications, degrees, licenses, etc – good luck to you but I wonder why you would want to enter an industry that is in the process of being decimated

if you are interested in making your fortune in RE, start reading – IMO everything in life starts with education and there is a wealth of information available at your local library and online – read everything you can find about RE – Robert Allen’s “Nothing Down” may not seem relevant to today’s markets but you may find a nugget in that book that helps you make your first million (or your tenth!)
