“Get back in the car, white boy! You’re still on the job.”
<ha,ha>
This thread fucking rocks.
Black Flag in Albany, NY, around 1985-ish. About 200 of us, band at the front of the room hardly any stage and everybody kicking the crap out of each other all night long. It was great. Dead Kennedy’s are cool. Jello for mayor. Bad Brains are best punk band ever. Yeah, what’s up with these punk-ass kids wearing my T-shirts around nowadays?!
Yeah, kids here too, so EVERYTHING is more complicated.
My wife and I saw Flogging Molly couple of months ago at Viejas. Anybody go? It was good. Digging the Irish-Punk scene these days… BTW, they ran out of fucking Guinness at the Flogging Molly show. WTF?
Finers thing was hilarious. Are they here in SD? Makes me think of American Beauty, or Miss Sunshine. Something a little ‘off’ about it all.
urban, what’s up, did you do some promotional video along these lines?

No, the reference that Rich made earlier was to an mp3 of the blanks doing an a capella version of the opening of the 6 million dollar man.
But again, if I did do tv ads, I suspect it would be much different.
There are ways to do advertising that does not cause nausea.

If you do ever decide to make a commercial, you should try to incorporate one of those catchy slogans into it that I always see on realtor’s cards like:
Urban Realty “excellence at it’s finest.”
Maybe you could do something like a rap video with you hanging out by a pool in a white suit with a bunch of girls freaking on you in bathing suits.
p.s. Why do realtors always have pictures of themselves on their cards and stuff? You don’t see lawyers or doctors or anyone else doing that.
Just wondering.
