Unfortunately, I just found out about it tonight, and after trying desperately to get child care and a last-minute plane ticket, realized it’s impossible to get there in time.
Just wanted to post this in case anyone from D.C. lurks here. We need more activism, IMHO. The b@$tards in D.C. will steamroll us, and there is nothing we can do. It’s very, very frustrating.
We could march here to show solidarity, but not sure where as everyone who matters is in D.C. right now.

ParticipantAnother way you could protest is to schedule a national “Pull Your Money Out of Your Bank Day”. Give congress an ultimatum that if the bailout bill passes, you’ll withdraw all your money. If you get enough people to sign up for it, that would be really scary.
