ParticipantPeople who buy small 1/1 condos don’t have $50k (20% down and reserve) sitting in the bank. Hell, people who buy $600k house don’t have that much in savings.
They will drop some more. $125k – $150k is not out of the realm of possibility.

ParticipantI heard there were some plumbing problems at that complex. I didn’t find out details. I only considered it b/c most of the units there have garages. The only reason why most condos don’t work for us. We need a garage. But they’re shared garages, so we ruled those out.

ParticipantI agree w/nostradamus. It seems like a deal now, b/c prices were so high. But who’s to say how low the prices will go by year-end. We never thought the prices would go so ridiculously high. I was stunned and astonished by how overpriced the market got and went for as long as it did. Viagra couldn’t do a better job for getting it up. I agree w/ the other post. I won’t be surprised if those 1 bedrooms go down to 150k
