Lowballs?

Sometimes I find unrealistically low prices listed for a very few of the sales at Zillow.com. Does anyone know the explanation of such low “Sale History” prices?

I think those sales are either liens or buy outs of 2nds or HELOCS. Anyone help?

These are not full sales.. Sometimes they are divorce or intra-family partial sale recordings. If you had access to better public record feeds it would be easier to figure this out.

This was listed on MLS, and was canceled last month stating that the property is occupied on a lease option. Its now obvious this wasn’t an arms length transaction.

This is another example why zillow information is suspect and incomplete.
