p.s. When I first started this particular forum, I was advised that I would not be successful with the aggressive low ball offers I was contemplating. It was not what I hoped to hear, but I appreciated the honestly and it did help me to reset my expectations and plan accordingly.
February 21, 2008 at 4:30 PM #157252RealityParticipant“I think being called an “idiot” is bashing. I can’t even imagine how you guys would critize my house if you had the address when I am called names and you don’t even know me or the exact details of the situation!”
Well, to be accurate, I was the only one to call you that. And it was a reaction after reading 3 pages of your whining. You’ve gotten a lot of great advice but have chosen to ignore it.
The only relevant “exact detail” that I can see is that your home is priced higher than what the market will bear. How unfair to you!

If you have realtors who are confident that they can get a higher price then it might be worth it to wait and see. Most peopl are complaining that realtors wnat to make a quick buck so it would seems as though they would be pushing you to cut a deal.
Additionally with this being a slower point in the season it probably works against you to sell right now.
If on the other hand you just want to cut a deal and move on you now know the price point that can sell in todays market. That could change in a month for the better or for the worse.
Seems strange that people can make judgement without knowing your home , the ugrades, the location, the view, relative to other homes in the area. Either way, best of luck with your home.
Maybe people are a little jealous at the fact that you are in a posiont to sell a million dollar home or were in a position to afford one in the first place. You must have been doing something right.

My opinion is based on the 7 offers, made by folks who know the home, upgrades, location, view, etc.
