December 25, 2008 at 9:29 AM #320407sdrealtorParticipantI would suggest SD R or urbanrealtor as they are closer to where you are looking. My business is very busy these days with listings (got about 20 and growing) and I dont think I could provide you the service you deserve right now. It’s odd for me as my business has always been closer to 50/50 . My favorite clients of all time tend to be first timers who need and deserve top notch, honest representation rather than the $1M+ buyers. My favorite transaction of all time was a public works employee and his waitress wife who bought their first home (didnt want a condo) after spending 15 years in an ocean view rental in Encinitas. Found them a 3BR oceanview home in the mid 200’s (was about 5 or 6 years ago) close to where both of them grew up. They are still there and still good friends.
BG,
What is wrong with redfin is that you are completely on your own. The value of someone that really knows the area you are looking in and can foresee things about a home that you wouldnt ever think of in advance because they look at far more homes than you ever would is worth more than I could ever say.December 25, 2008 at 9:29 AM #320355sdrealtorParticipantI would suggest SD R or urbanrealtor as they are closer to where you are looking. Honestly the past few weeks my posting and even browsing time online has been significantly reduced as I have been extremely busy. Also I think I have posted my email address on the site more then a few times. I do try to answer emails when people contact me so if you tried and I did not it would be to an inadvertent deletion of the mail or it went to the bulk mail box.
I do know the areas that you discussed, some of them better then others. I don’t want to profess to be an expert in an area that I am not.
Finally I get kind of tired of having to deal with certain posters who feel that guys like sdr, or ur or any of the other realtors here are doing nothing but trying to talk people into buying so I find it better to not respond to certain posts at all.
Anyways as I said if you did email me and I did not respond I apologize and it was either that I did not see your email or deleted it inadvertently. If you like my email is [email protected].
