Lockbox or Appointment Only

We’re putting our home on the market, and I’m completely turned off by the idea of a lockbox on the door to let in god knows who. Would love to hear someone talk me off the ledge, or tell me why I’m totally sane and Appointment Only is the way to go.

I can sympathize with your not wanting to have a lockbox.

But in his market in you want to sell you need to make it convenient for the agents to show you house and for the buyers to view your house.

If your house is in a very active area / price point, and the listing agent isn’t too busy, I wonder if the weekend open house thing would work for you.

If not … see if you can get one of those electronic lockbox thingies. Like this:
