Guest“Ziprealty mails me new properties that have just come on the market, so if I add zip to my spam list, I won’t get to see those listings.”
A nice alternative is sdlookup.com‘s daily updates that shows market activity for a particular neighborhood. I check the downtown updates page on a regular basis so there’s no need for emails. Also I registered months ago and have never received a puff piece or been harassed by agents.

ParticipantI’ve stopped using Zip for anything. I recall in the past that once you selected your ‘search area’ that you couldn’t randomly search other places (e.g. other sta.tes or metro areas).
With sites like realtor.com, redfin and sdlookup I see absolutely no reason to use Zip realty

GuestIt’s funny, I just got a e-mail from the ziprealty agent asking, “still searching?” lol. Again, I don’t get them that often though.
