Dumble, I use ziprealty as well. I get e-mails from the realtor asking me if I’m ready to buy, but not that frequently. I suggest you do as the others said and just ignore and delete. Ziprealty mails me new properties that have just come on the market, so if I add zip to my spam list, I won’t get to see those listings.

yes, I use ziprealty a lot. I signed up using an email account I don’t check very often, I just delete them en masse when I clean up that account occasionally.
and sometimes you can have a lot of fun with those realtor e-mails, for example, this Mike Dempster guy was really aggressive with his “we have hit bottom” e-mails. after my post he no longer “predict bottoms” any more.

January 6, 2008 at 12:57 AM #130531Bunny MeadowsParticipantI also use Zip and get the aggressive emails. Whatever you do, dont EVER print out directions to a property. I did that one day and the triggered a major email storm from the agent, who was quite excited.
I finally wrote to the agent and told him that we were at LEAST a year away from even thinking about it and that I was using the site for informational purposes. I told him that he should not consider me even a “lukewarm” prospect and that I would call him when we’re ready to work with him which honestly will be never.
He doesnt seem terribly bright and there are too many very capable agents out there.
