The other night I saw Chamberlain on NBC7/39 news commenting as their so called “real estate expert”. Unfreakinbelievable, why would a legitimate newscast like 7/39 employee this jackhole? All of those Chamberlain bashers should also consider writing to the director of 7/39 news to expose this clown for the incompetant, biased fool that he is.

August 12, 2007 at 5:09 PM #73948JWM in SDParticipantLike I said DeadZone, I strongly suspect Georgie’s employment is not long for this world right now. For the past few months I have been wondering how long this clown could get away with such BS. I think he really just stepped over the line now.

August 12, 2007 at 5:13 PM #73952SD RealtorParticipantGuys… the local news loves guys like GC… How bout Dan Holbrock? Anyone here dealt with him? He is quite a character…
The guy is a fixture and I don’t see him going anywhere unless there would be heavy public backlash against him.
For those that really want to see him gone, don’t mail him, email the program directors of the media outlets he serves.

Sorry, but I think you are dead wrong on this. The MSM will need to maintain credibility going forward. That is why you see articles in LA Times now on their front page. If they continue to be in denial as Rome burns around them then there will be backlash in the ratings eventually.
This is why Lanser of the OC register began to report bearish news and opened up the blog and got Padilla to come on board. LA Time is now trying to get out in front of this because the magnitude is starting become clear to them and if they continue to ignore it they will lose all credibility in the eyes of the public.

August 12, 2007 at 8:41 PM #74031SD RealtorParticipantI hope you are right JWM. Believe me, I don’t like the guy at all. I have posted many a time that I can tolerate him for all of a few moments and then I have to switch as my head begins to implode…. ol George and his buddy M.A… with the mortgage minute. I just bet KOGO has him in a long contract, (or visa verse) and I don’t see them shutting him down even as the mainstream media gets more readership by promoting the facts of what is going on to the front pages.
The media tilt is an interesting one…
Here is something that would be interesting… we see many media outlets promoting real estate… flip this house…an entire tv station (albeit cable, HG) as well as a plethora of shows on the radio all promoting real estate…
I wonder if a real estate radio show with a bearish outlook would get ratings?
