If you have evidence, I would think your better course of action would be to go to the local police and have them pursue it. Once they’ve charged him, you can probably bring those charges to the attention of his local bar association and have them pursue action independently.
I would check the Canon of Ethics and see what, if any, violations he would be facing.

December 2, 2008 at 10:33 PM #310824scaredyclassicParticipantlawyers are sometimes disciplined for matters not directly involving the practice of law, but usually there’s a criminal case involved. Makes it easy for the bar prosecutors.
Not sure what the crime here is.
IN general, the lawyer’s ethics are found in the rules of professional behavior which, as the name suggests, generally govern professional behavior, not just general ethical principals. There is I don’t think any punishment for conduct “unbecoming a lawyer”. On the other hand, if it were egregious enough, the bar might get involved.
I’d call the cops if you thought a crime were involved. if it’s just taking fixtures which might be his, or HELOCs, well, I don’t know.
Youc an get a complaint form at that website.
